Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a public rally in Hangal, Karnataka on April 24 where he claimed that why Senior leader Jagadish Shettar was denied a party ticket by BJP for the upcoming Karnataka Election. While addressing the rally, he said, "Shettar has built the BJP in the state. In his speech, he gave the reason why he didn't get the ticket. That means there is no corruption case against him. He didn't get a ticket in the BJP because he didn't commit corruption. Shettar didn't get 40% commission and, therefore, didn't become a minister in the government and didn't even get a ticket in the elections."
