Kanimozhi: 'Allies Free To Decide', DMK Not Worried About TVK

Kanimozhi Karunanidhi of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) downplayed concerns over allies shifting towards Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), saying she does not fear the emergence of another secular force in Tamil Nadu. She emphasised that alliances are ideological and parties are free to take their own decisions. Kanimozhi also hinted that the INDIA bloc is no longer a cohesive alliance, adding that opposition parties can still work together without formal ties. She congratulated Vijay and expressed hope that his government will meet public expectations.
