JD Vance Warns Iran Against 'Playing' US Ahead Of Negotiations In Pakistan
U.S. Vice President JD Vance, speaking aboard Air Force Two en route to Pakistan, expressed cautious optimism about upcoming negotiations with Iran. Quoting President Donald Trump, Vance said the United States is ready to extend an “open hand” if Iran engages in good faith. However, he issued a stern warning that any attempt by Tehran to “play” the U.S. would not be well received by the negotiating team. Vance also noted that President Trump has provided clear guidelines for the talks but declined to elaborate further. The vice president did not take questions from reporters traveling with him.
