An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in Bachoura, central Beirut, on Wednesday. Heavy plumes of smoke rose from the site as cars drove by. The Israeli army had warned residents in the building to evacuate about an hour before completely flattening it as day broke. It marks the fourth time the building has been targeted, after three strikes on March 12 failed to bring it down. The Israeli army previously said it was targeting the site, accusing Hezbollah of storing "millions of dollars intended to finance its activities,” without providing evidence.
