Israel Strikes Iran | Four Killed, Dozens Injured In Israeli Strike On Busy Tehran Highway

At least four people were killed and several others injured after a strike hit the Shahid Bagheri Highway in Tehran amid the escalating conflict involving Iran, Israel and the United States. Footage from the scene shows damaged vehicles and injured people along the busy motorway after the blast. Iranian state media reported that a missile struck the highway, damaging nearby infrastructure and vehicles. Authorities later said the road was reopened within an hour following emergency response efforts. The strike comes days after joint U.S.–Israeli military operations against Iran triggered retaliatory attacks across the region. Iran also confirmed that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed during the opening phase of the conflict, with Mojtaba Khamenei later selected as his successor.
