The escape comes while Israeli tanks push deeper into the city, backed by heavy air and artillery strikes. Communication lines are down, leaving many cut off from help. Gaza's Health Ministry says the death toll has now passed 65,000. Nearly 90% of Gaza's people are already homeless.
