Iran Says No Timeline Set for Nuclear Deal With US, Warns Conflict Could Spread Beyond Region
Iran has said there is “no timetable or deadline” for finalising a framework agreement with the United States, even as tensions remain high over the ongoing conflict and nuclear negotiations. Speaking to the media, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said Tehran would continue talks only if Iran’s “national rights and interests” are protected. He also warned that conflict in the region cannot be contained once “fire” is started.
