Iran Rejects Foreign Interference On Supreme Leader Succession, Calls It Internal Matter
Iran has stated that the selection of its next Supreme Leader-following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the Israel-U.S. strike-will be decided solely by the country's Assembly of Experts. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the leadership transition is an internal issue for the Iranian people and dismissed any external interference or commentary on the succession process.
