Iran News | Indian Vessels Confronted By Iran In Hormuz, No Damage Reported

Tensions in the Strait of Hormuz escalated sharply after Iran reportedly shut the route and confronted two Indian-flagged vessels. The ships, including a Very Large Crude Carrier, were approached by Iranian gunboats and forced to turn back near Oman, though no damage or injuries were reported. In response, India summoned the Iranian envoy in New Delhi, issuing a strong protest over the incident involving its merchant ships.
