Inside Kathmandu's Flood Control Room: Tracking Rescue, Missing Persons & Relief

NDTV takes you inside the Nepal Police's Disaster Rescue Coordination and Information Management Centre in Kathmandu, the nerve centre coordinating flood relief operations across the country. Eight specialised desks are working on rescue, missing persons, dead-body recovery and identification, medical assistance, traffic and communications, relief distribution, legal assistance and misinformation monitoring. Live inputs, including drone footage, are relayed to teams on the ground to coordinate rescue and relief efforts.
