Indian Airlines Cancel Flights; Some Airports Shut Amid Airspace Restrictions

Indian airlines have cancelled their flights to and from various cities amid airspace restrictions in the wake of Indian armed forces carrying out missile strikes on terror targets in Pakistan. National carrier Air India has suspended flights to and from nine cities till noon, while SpiceJet, IndiGo, and Akasa Air have also issued advisories, citing regional restrictions and changing airspace conditions. Commuters at the Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport are among those stranded, but many expressed support for the military operation.
