India Matters: Bound At Birth

As celebrations begin for India's 70th year of independence, four men are gassed to death in Hyderabad while cleaning a sewer in the most primitive conditions. On the same day in Gujarat, Dalits face upper-caste violence, when they refuse to dispose dead animals. In this India Matters episode we look at the ongoing protests against caste occupation.
