IIT Bombay Professor Suryanarayana Doolla, At Centre Of Student Suicide Row, Sent On Leave
IIT Bombay Professor Suryanarayana Doolla, who has been charged in the alleged suicide case of student Sahil Wakod, has been sent on leave, sources told NDTV on Wednesday.
A case on charges of abetment and caste discrimination was registered against Doolla. He will also appear before the police today. Doolla was on Monday removed as the dean of Administrative Affairs following protests by students over the suicide case.
