'Cops Detaining Us': Sahil Wakode's Parents To Meet SC/ST Commission Chairman
The parents of IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode have alleged that they were detained while trying to visit the campus and said they will approach the SC/ST Commission chairman.
Sahil Wakode, a 22-year-old second-year student in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his hostel room at the Powai campus last Friday. His death came hours after he was allegedly caught using a mobile phone to access ChatGPT during a mid-semester examination.
