EaseMyTrip co-founder Prashant Pitti says that the travel industry is at par with the pre-pandemic levels, while EaseMyTrip's revenue is double of the pre-pandemic levels. Air fares have gone up 30-40% in the last few months, as the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) is up 66% in a year. Prashant Pitti says that while there's no perfect time to book air tickets for the lowest price, travelers should look for afternoon flights to get cheaper rates. He says travel should be optimally planned and booked 40-45 days in advance to get the ideal deals.
