"Grave Concern": Minister On Supreme Court Making Public "Secret" Reports
In a spiraling conflict over judicial appointments, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju today objected strongly to the Supreme Court making public the government's objections to candidates recommended for judges. Last week, the Supreme Court collegium headed by the Chief Justice of India, DY Chandrachud, published on the Supreme Court website the government's objections to the elevation of three candidates for judge and its own counter.
