In a chat with NDTV's Namrata Brar, Simon Denham, CEO, Capital Spreads, said that commodities like gold and oil fell as the Federal Reserve extended its monetary stimulus to boost the economy on Wednesday, renewing its effort to depress borrowing costs by selling short-term bonds to buy longer-dated ones.
