Barely two months after the Congress looked to have staved off a defection bid, eight of its 11 MLAs will join the ruling BJP later today, sources said. They are learnt to have met the Vidhan Sabha Speaker, and the Chief Minister. State BJP chief Sadanand Shet Tanavade has claimed the MLAs are joining the party, as per news agency PTI.
