Israeli dentist Dr Shota Musaev, who was among the passengers who entered the cockpit of the Flydubai flight, has revealed how he treated injured Captain Smit Machchhar after the hijack attempt. Musaev said the captain had deep cuts to his head and hand, a dangerously low pulse and significant blood loss. He used ice and pressure to control the bleeding and stayed with the captain, who kept talking about his family and children. Musaev called Captain Smit and the other passengers heroes, saying September 30 gave them a "new life."
