Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer sat down with the media on Thursday at their team base in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to preview his team’s upcoming second World Cup group stage game against Ivory Coast coming up on Saturday in Toronto. Germany won their first World Cup group game 7-1 against Curacao last Sunday in Houston. A win against Ivory Coast would secure Germany a spot in the knockout stage. The game against Ivory Coast would be 40-year-old Neuer’s 21st World Cup game in total and his fifth appearing at a World Cup.
