Farm Fires Are Supposedly Down But Air Quality Continues To Dip
The Punjab Government has claimed that the number of farm fire incidents in the state this year is fewer than last year. However, the air quality index (AQI) in most cities is worse as compared to last year. This has now led to speculations about whether there is a concerted attempt to hide the actual data of farm fires in the state. Also, action was taken today but only after the Supreme Court rap.
