Explained: Defence, Energy & Trade: What to Expect From Putin’s India Visit

India and Russia are set to sign several agreements to enhance cooperation in areas including trade and healthcare during Russian President Vladimir Putin's two-day visit to New Delhi this week. Putin is scheduled to arrive in India on December 4 for annual summit talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to further strengthen India–Russia strategic ties. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the visit will allow both sides to review progress in their “Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership” and set a renewed vision for future cooperation. President Droupadi Murmu will also host a banquet in Putin’s honour.
