In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh rejected exit poll predictions as “baseless,” asserting that the BJP will be defeated in West Bengal. Responding to allegations of violence during Phase 2 voting, he accused the BJP of creating a narrative to influence public perception. Ghosh also questioned the role of agencies in the I-PAC case, alleging that arrests were aimed at disrupting TMC’s campaign. Confident of a strong mandate, he said the people of Bengal continue to back Mamata Banerjee and her leadership.
