Mamata Banerjee's Convoy Attacked In Bengal; Shoes, Bottles Hurled
The political faceoff between the BJP and TMC in West Bengal has intensified after an alleged attack on Mamata Banerjee's convoy in North 24 Parganas. The TMC chief claimed shoes, bottles and stones were hurled at her convoy and said she could have been killed had it not been for the windshield. The BJP has blamed Mamata over her visit arrangements while maintaining that adequate security was provided. TMC leader Kunal Ghosh has called the incident an alleged assassination conspiracy and announced a protest.
