Egypt's emergency laws curbing political activity all these years has meant the absence of any real opposition to President Mubarak. In the run up to September, apart from Mohammed El Baradei, there's one other Egyptian, who's even served as Mubarak's foreign minister, who's now joined the crowds in Tahrir square and is considering standing for president in the September elections as well. Amr Moussa, the head of the League of Arab States, who says he warned Mubarak of the brewing unrest.
