Exclusive: World Bank India Head On Growth Forecast, Freebies

The World Bank released its 'India Development Update' on Tuesday. It retained the FY24 growth forecast for India at 6.3%, while raising the inflation forecast to 5.9% from 5.2%. NDTV's Priyanshi Sharma speaks to Auguste Tano Kouame, World Bank's Country Director for India about the growth and inflation forecasts, challenges for the Indian economy, where the economy is headed, whether freebies politics is good economics, and a lot more.
