Education Minister Pralhad Joshi At IIT Delhi: ‘Youth Are Architects Of Viksit Bharat 2047’
Speaking at IIT Delhi’s 57th convocation, Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi congratulated graduating students and highlighted the expansion of India’s higher education ecosystem since 2014. Joshi said more than 4.5 crore students are now enrolled in higher education, while universities have increased by nearly 70%. He also cited the establishment of over 650 new universities, 14,000 colleges, 4,000 ITIs, nine IIMs, seven IITs and 13 AIIMS. Joshi said India’s youth will be key architects of Viksit Bharat 2047.
