EAM S Jaishankar Lauds Marco Rubio For Honouring 26/11 Victims At Mumbai Memorial
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar praised US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for laying a wreath at the 26/11 memorial at Mumbai's Taj Hotel, honouring the victims of the 2008 terror attacks, including six American citizens. Speaking at an event marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence in Mumbai, Jaishankar also welcomed the US decision to extradite 26/11 accused Tahawwur Rana and stressed the need for zero tolerance towards terrorism. He highlighted the growing India-US strategic partnership across trade, technology, energy, defence and Indo-Pacific security.
