DU drops Ramanujan's interpretation of Ramayana: Is it an insult to him?
The decision by Delhi University's academic council to drop an essay by noted scholar AK Ramanujan on the many different interpretations of the Ramayana, has split the academic community down the middle with some saying this is the "talibanisation of education".
