The case of a convicted sex offender is turning into a political storm for US President Donald Trump. Trump is ordering the justice department to release grand jury testimony related to notorious Jeffrey Epstein. A grand jury is a legal body that determines if there’s enough evidence for charges to be filed in a case. Getting these documents unsealed would require approval of a court. Grand jury have strict secrecy rules…and most courts are reluctant to lift them.
