A political storm has erupted in Karnataka after ruling Congress MLA Iqbal Hussain claimed that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will take over as Chief Minister on January 6, replacing Siddaramaiah.
However, DK Shivakumar has firmly rejected the statement, saying people should not believe Iqbal Hussain and calling it his "habit," while also suggesting that action be taken against the MLA.
