Delhi Volunteers Join Nepal Flood Relief: 'We Couldn't Sit At Home Anymore'
A Delhi-based volunteer group from the Hemkunt Foundation has travelled to flood-hit Nepal to support rescue and relief operations. While government agencies distribute tonnes of ration, the volunteers are helping families recover valuable belongings from homes damaged by the flash floods. The group is also preparing to send blankets, mattresses, pillows and other essential supplies by helicopter to remote areas of Rasuwa where survivors remain in urgent need.
