The controversy over the alleged use of pellet guns during the July 20 march towards Parliament has intensified after NDTV accessed a medico-legal case (MLC) report documenting pellet injuries sustained by a 28-year-old journalist. The MLC from Safdarjung Hospital reportedly mentions pellet wounds to the victim's right elbow and back, recording pellet fragments lodged in the skin along with tenderness and other injuries. NDTV has also tracked down another injured protester, 19-year-old Sahil, whose family alleges he suffered a serious eye injury during the clashes and now faces the risk of permanent vision loss.
