Delhi Ground Report: Heavy Security In Place, No Protesters Allowed To Gather In Central Delhi

NDTV's ground report from central Delhi shows heavy police deployment and strict restrictions preventing protesters from gathering near Jantar Mantar and Connaught Place. Police are reportedly stopping young people, delivery riders and others to question their movements, while some individuals have been detained for allegedly filming in groups of more than five. With CJP leaders detained and mobile internet restrictions hampering coverage, mobilisation remains difficult. Tourists and hotel guests have also expressed concern over movement in the area. The focus now shifts to whether AAP workers, student organisations and other opposition groups attempt to challenge the clampdown.
