Foreigner Clings On Roof Amid Delhi Hotel Fire, Dramatic Escape Goes Viral
A video circulating on social media within hours of a deadly fire breaking out in a South Delhi hotel on Wednesday, shows a foreign national standing on the roof of a burning five-storey building, clutching a pole, looking for a way down. Behind him, thick black smoke billowed upward in enormous plumes, blotting out the sky above the Malviya Nagar. As the camera pans out, the scale of the blaze becomes visible. The man in the video is seen gripping a pole to steady himself as he surveys the building and the ground below, trying to look for a way down.
