Delhi Class 10 Student Dies by Suicide, Family Alleges Year-Long Bullying
A Class 10 student, Shourya Patil, died by suicide in Delhi after allegedly facing a year of bullying, humiliation, and threats from his teachers. In a heartbreaking suicide note, he blamed his teachers for pushing him to the extreme and urged action against them so no other child suffers. His father says Shourya was publicly insulted on the same day after he slipped during a school dance practice.
