The surge in coronavirus cases in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh has sparked concerns in Telangana. The state health minister has ruled out a lockdown, saying the spread of virus is under control but the state has intensified border surveillance with its neighbours, with health screening and tests.
