"Counsellors Overburdened On Campuses": IIT Delhi Students

In a significant IIT Council Meet, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has asked IITs to ensure multiple entry-exit options for students. He also raised concern about dropouts and mental health issues on campuses. It has now been decided that there is a need to reduce pressure and fear of failure among students. In the backdrop of rising cases of suicide particularly in the past four years, the council has decided that there should be zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination in these institutes. Here's what the students on campuses and the Deans of IIT Delhi, one of the oldest IITs had to say.
