Couldn't find a liver in time to save him: Vilasrao Deshmukh's doctor

After battling serious illness for the last few weeks, Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh died at a Chennai hospital today. He was suffering from liver cancer and finally had a multiple organ failure. But doctors say that the 67-year-old leader could have survived, had he received a donor liver on time.
