Cough Syrup Tragedy: FIR Against Tamil Nadu Pharma Firm, Doctor
After the death of 11 children in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district, authorities have filed an FIR against Tamil Nadu-based pharma company Sresan and government doctor Dr. Praveen Soni. The case includes charges of culpable homicide and drug adulteration. Sources say Dr. Soni, who has been arrested, distributed the contaminated cough syrup from his private clinic despite biopsy reports from Nagpur indicating risks.
