In a strong statement on our show 'The NDTV Dialogues,' Infosys founder NR Narayanamurthy said there is "considerable fear" among the minorities in India and added that this must be resolved for economic progress. Mr Narayanamurthy is the first business voice to express his worry about intolerance not just between religious communities but also between people of different regions. In response, a fellow panelist on the show Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has "fully addressed" these issues in his public statements and added that his government would protect constitutional rights with full force of the law.
