Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today launched the party's Bharat Jodo Yatra (unite India march) from Kanyakumari. The campaign is being seen as the early days of the Congress's strategy for the 2024 national elections. Congress MP P Chidambaram summarised the political aspect of the yatra. When asked about whether it was about revamping the party or the initiation of Rahul Gandhi 3.0, Mr Chidambaram said the Congress party has, more than any other party, taken to the streets for the rights of the people and the Bharat Jodo Yatra would be quoted as just another example of that.
