China Reports No Covid Deaths In Last 5 Days Amid Massive Case Surge

Despite a massive surge in Covid case all through last week, China has not reported any fresh deaths in the last five days, news agency Reuters has said quoting the country's Centre for Disease Control and Prevention. On Sunday, China's National Health Commission said they were stopping the release of daily infection figures too. All this, amid lots of evidence of how Covid has overwhelmed medical infrastructure in many parts of China.
