China On Verge Of Unprecedented Covid Surge

China's Covid situation appears to be worsening days after the country loosened its hardline containment policy, as hospitals and crematoriums reportedly struggle with an outbreak authorities say is impossible to track. Reports emerging out of China suggest overburdened crematoriums, hospitals overflowing with patients and pharmacies running out of medicines. Some health experts have estimated that 60 percent of the Chinese population could become infected in the next few months and more than 20 lakh people could die.
