School Children in Chennai are helping the city police impart road discipline on city roads. Called "Super Kid Cop" the children are recording traffic violations by their parents under various parameters in a card given to them. The innovative short term programme for 12 rides, the Chennai Police believes would also give them valuable inputs to turn roads a lot safer. They aim to rope in a lakh children under class VIII. NDTV's Sam Daniel hit the roads to see how the system works. He spoke to children, parents, teachers, drivers and the Greater Chennai Police Commissioner Mr Shankar Jiwal on how they see this experiment.
