India successfully placed the Chandrayaan 2 spacecraft in orbit on Monday. The mission will land a rover on an explored part of the moon for scientific research. Witnessing the launch was K Vijay Raghavan, Principal Scientific Advisor to the government. He saw the historic launch of the powerful 'Baahubali' rocket, the GSLV Mark 3.
