Centre Cuts Windfall Tax, Export Duty On Fuel

As crude oil prices fall in the international market due to growing fears of a global recession, the government has decided to reduce special additional excise duty on domestically produced crude. The special additional excise duty imposed on export of petrol has also been removed and that on diesel has been cut.
