The Centre has moved the National Green Tribunal requesting it not to extend restrictions on diesel vehicles, saying it would harm the industry and consumers. "Effective life of present day vehicles is more than 10 years. Such a ban will have a serious consequences on finances of vehicle owners," the ministry of heavy industries told the court.
