Canada Counter Tariffs: Canada's $20 Billion Counter-Tariffs On US Goods Come Into Effect
Canada's retaliatory tariffs on more than 700 U.S. goods valued at 27.6 billion Canadian dollars are set to take effect today. The Canadian federal government had announced the tariffs on August 25th in response to the U.S 50-percent tariffs on 20 billion dollars worth of Canadian goods that took effect on August 22.
