The probe ordered by the Bombay High Court into the alleged disproportionate assets of former Mumbai Congress chief Kripashankar Singh has brought into focus numerous cases of how our netas have flourished while being in power. Several MLAs across the country have witnessed startling rise in their assets which have grown exponentially with no clear source of income. We debate if politics pays and serves as an easy entry to the crorepatis' club.
